I’m Maria Prieto Barea, an independent designer, art director and illustrator, based in Vienna. I specialize in creating visual identities, branding, editorial design and illustration.

I‘m passionate about aesthetics and finely crafted print matters. I love bringing brand identities to life and tell a story. I believe in meaningful and tactile design experiences — giving people something to touch, hold and feel and creating original and long lasting work.

Collaborating with a network of photographers, copywriters or strategists is important and allows an interdisciplinary approach.
